I think it was $19, but there was so much good food, I felt it was worth it. They even had fresh raw oysters. If the oysters had been fried, kaki fry, I would have eaten them all.
Call them and ask. They probably would make it work. They are awesome like that. Always delicious food and great service . They filled my valentine chocolate box with sushi for my fiance to surprise me , was awesome
Not sure if they are open on Christmas
Not sure I would call & ask
Excellent sushi, amazing service. Fast and friendly
Very nice restaurant setting but definitely one of the worst Sushi restaurants I've been to. All 4 rolls tasted like straight salt and the seaweed salad was slim!!
I'm pretty disappointed that i wasted quite a bit of money on my dinner. The chicken and steak hibachi was more of a steamed chicken and steak. The chicken wasn't cooked all the way through, so my boyfriend couldn't even finish it. The sushi was pretty okay, up until i found a hair in it. I understand that mistakes sometimes happen, but when I'm spending more money for a "fancier" dinner, i really don't want to find hair in my food.
Great food and service. Sushi was fresh and yummy. My Cosmo was strong. We had a party of six and everyone was happy including my impossible to please mother in law. This is on our regular Rehoboth rotation.
Love this place.... my second time here and throughly enjoying the ambiance and cool music in the background. I think it great collection of Asian cuisines. I 'll call it Pan-Asian. Reasonable and so much better than takeout or buffet. They serve a mean Cosmopolitan. No room for dessert.
We had delicious food in a beautiful restaurant. The decor is serene, well lit, contemporary and not stuffy.I had the exquisite Thai coconut chicken soup and vegetable tempura. My husband had his usual selection of sushi which he said was fresh and ample.
Always exceptional quality. Now with curbside pickup, they're food is just as delicious. And they're so accommodating! Excellent service.
One of the best sashimi meals ever. Fantastic kitchen; good service; nice atmosphere. Not too loud!
This place was one of the best places I went to while visiting the area. As my picture shows, clean plate, I ate everything. Service was excellent and they have everyone water right away before asking. Appetizers were delicious. Green tea was legit, like tea leaves in the kettle. My table of six all had the best dishes of our trip except one who had chicken and broccoli which isn't that big of a deal since it's a normal dish.
They serve big portions and for convenient rates. nice employees. Will visit again.
Great daily happy hour 4-6 Chris and Brandon behind the bar. Tanaka is one of the best sushi and sashimi artists in the Northeast. They also have traditional Japanese cuisine on the menu with several vegetarian options and a kids menu. Excellent wine list as well as a full service bar with several sake options hit and cold. The desert menu is also a good 7 or 8 to choose from daily. Donny will greet you at the host desk always with a smile and a warrm. Welcome. Bento box wendsdays and brunch on Sunday. Banquet room upstairs for your group needs for a holiday party or and event you may need to plan for a large group.
Really great sushi! Was quick to pickup, packaging was great and food was tasty. A little pricey, but wasn't disappointing in taste. Will get food here again and hope to try their dine-in down the road!
Ordered via door dash. I've been to Japan and all over the US. I've had mediocre, "Americanized" japanese steakhouse and sushi all over. This unfortunately was the worst example of that. The chicken hibachi was not hibachi, but steamed chicken and veggies or reheated in microwave with sauce added. The miso soup was by far worst I've had...inedible. The shishito wings were barbecued maybe and then steamed or microwaved so soft gelatinous and lacking flavor. The sushi was edible, but think lacked any flavor, character or distinct fresh/grade taste...I've had much better from the grocery store, unfortunately. Perhaps it's due to COVID or new cook. Really regretted this order. The cost completely outweighed any value. I'd pay more for McDonald's.
My go to Asian fusion restaurant because it’s easily accessible with parking, good quality sushi and reasonable prices. They offer bento, pad Thai, sashimi and a fine happy hour. Reliability and quite tranquil as well.
A good sushi restaurant that's relatively inexpensive compared to others in the area! Ordered the firecracker roll and the Chesapeake Bay roll, and both were really good! Our server and host were really nice as well! I recommend it!
I had the shrimp stir fry and the portion size was very small. My shrimp was tough on one side which was disappointing. Our waitress didn't check on us much and didn't ask if we wanted refills until we were completely done our meal. The presentation of the food was nice but not worth $20 for that little bit of food.
Nice atmosphere and friendly attentive staff. The sushi was fresh and tasted great.
Good food. Able to serve larger groups. Cost for two entrees, non-alcoholic beverages and slice of birthday cake $58 w/o tip.
I have been here several times and the sushi is outstanding. I highly recommend it. It is pricey but it is totally worth it
Contemporary design and menu with no leak spots. Sushi is always fantastic. A good dinner place with friends. A regular stop when nearby
Honestly, this is the best Japanese/Asian restaurant I have ever been to. Every time I go, everything is better than the last. At Sunday Brunch, my friend found a pearl in his oyster! Besides Sunday Brunch, the menu items are delicious. The Chinatown Roast Duck is easily the best thing on the menu, and presentation is amazing! The service is also great! I have been to this place about 7-9 times and I would go 7-9 more times!
I love coming here, the food is excellent and the service is great!!
Truly the best Asian food I've found in the area so far. The sushi is so good! They have very interesting options. The crab Rangoon is amazing. And so is the beef lol mein! I don't go home feeling awful afterward so the ingredients I believe are of better quality. The service here has always been very friendly as well. Definitely one of my favorite places.
Great sushi and helpful staff and bartenders but a bit overpriced... $10 for fried rice?????? Good options and nice ambiance, but cool factor wore off quickly.
My husband came here for lunch one day and liked it so much that he wanted me to check it out as well. I tried the Thai lemongrass soup per his recommendation and loved it, it had a nice spicy kick to it and a lot of flavor. It's probably one of the best soups I've had in a long time. They also had a nice selection of sushi. Sushi was flavorful, fresh and not packed with rice. The crispy calamari and tuna roll was the best, and a best seller The restaurant is very modern and trendy. Nice ambiance.
Great food, atmosphere & staff. Price are reasonable for what you get!
Wonderful sushi at a fair price for lunch specials. The miso soup is a bit salty. The service was quick and attentive.
Delicious food. Good vibes. Sushi chefs got pretty slammed so I had to wait a while but worth it.
I would give it a 3.5 star review. The service was quick and to the point. Since it was our first time there, I felt the waiter could have been a little more helpful with making suggestions or finding out if it was our first time. (It was actually also my first time to try sushi) the crab wontons were very good and I would get them again. The soup and salad were refreshing! The chicken and shrimp hibachi was severely lacking flavor. It was cooked and hot, but just blah. The sushi was amazing. I would definitely come back for that.
Very Americanized food and VERY small portion to price ratio for fish. The fish was good quality, but $37 for a meal fit for one person is way to much. The building in general is nice and service is very good. Over all, Saketumi is a good restaurant for quality Asian cuisine, but don't expect to get a good deal on the fish.
Beware of very large parties. I have been dining at this restaurant for over six years. Last night we were seated with another couple in the back room even though there were empty tables out front. While half way through dinner a party of twelve were seated next to us in the empty back room. We could not even hear each other after that. Upon complaining to the manager we were told “this is a restaurant what do you expect”. The manager was unsympathetic to our plight. To make the evening complete our waiter had body odor. There are not a lot of Asian restaurants in the Rehoboth area. Now there be one less on my list of places to eat.Mr. Manager get out of the hospitality business.
We had an enjoyable dinner. Dragon fly roll was delicious. Crispy shrimp, avocado with a seaweed wrap. Moroccan lamb was tasty with lots of vegetables. Brown rice is an option. We sat in a booth and noted some of the seats need to be reupholstered. Reasonably priced.
Lovely environment and lovely people! We got excellent service from Kaury and received some great food as well! Great and diverse sushi solection! Deinitely have to visit again soon!
Had a number of people with us and everyone enjoyed the food. Had many different dishes. Wings, lettuce wraps and spare ribs were great. Pho was also done well. Sashimi was not as fresh as I would like but I am very picky and knowledgeable there. Stick with the rolls.
Modern Asian fusion restaurant. Plenty of sushi and shasimi options plus tapinyaki and hibachi options. Full bar. Recommend takeout / carry out option during social distancing
One of the best happy hour destinations in Rehoboth Beach. Great drink specials but the real draw are the sushi specials. Lots of $3 and $4 rolls. Boston rolls are awesomely refreshing and the eggplant tempura rolls are just amazing. $4 edamame are great as well. The lettuce wraps aren't on the happy hour menu anymore but they are still a great choice.
Always great service. We sat in the bar area . . . just missed happy hour. Cosmos are amongst best in town. Wednesday is "bento box" night and you can't go wrong with about 8 to choose from. My personal favorite is "bento China".
The sushi was subpar some of it a little bit tough and pre-sliced which generally makes for a bit less pleasurable fish. Very large portion with respect to the seaweed salad however the Sashimi was about 1/2 the size of what it should be
Amazing sushi, perfect amount of food! And delicious drinks 😋
A modern chic atmosphere with fresh and colorful sushi. Large varietey of sushi and other cuisines. Although it has very casual dinning, they have great cocktails!
Good service and above average raw bar. The bulk of items we have had are ok. However, this town has so little in the way of Asian food of any quality, it is places like this that make ok food good to find. Keep with the raw bar and avoid the tourist foods.
Excellent sushi rolls. Tried four different ones but just got take-out. Sign out front but building is strangely unmarked. Nice decor inside, friendly service, but not exactly the most romantic.
Nothing special about this place. Okay good but good service.
Good food, good price, friendly staff, not amazing. Sushi rolls were a bit disappointing. For the price, they tasted like supermarket sushi. 13$ for 5 rolls, only 3 of them were eatable, the 2 big ones were for design only, lettuce and nothing else. The Crab Wontons were delicious 🤤! Would definitely buy it again! Calamari was good! Not as good as Ruth Chris’s Calamari, but good. The dragon fly roll we had was very good 😍, the spider roll was mostly lettuce and tasted like supermarket sushi 👎🏻. Sara was our server, she was friendly and nice and she recommended the crab wontons (big thanks Sara). Overall the place was nice, nice environment. The restrooms would need some cleaning attention including the sign saying “high water pressure, don’t lift the handle all the way”. I think it’s silly and they either should change the shape of the sink or change the whole sink. Overall it was ok. I would try it again. Maybe recommend it to someone else.
The food and service is amazing, with thoughtful and flavorful execution of Thai and Japanese dishes, as well as Korean. The sushi is difficult to customize but it's great the way it is. Come for the Sunday lunch buffet, it's the best deal with quality food available for miles for Asian.
We are just beach goers looking for from Asian food. We only ordered the teriyaki chicken and it was awful. It was simply steamed chicken and veggies with sauce added. It was not seared or put in a pan at all. Looks like a fancy place tho.
This is some if the best sushi I have ever had, why there are no other locations, like in the DC metro area is beyond me. Either way, if you are in Delaware you NEED to go here. Absolutely amazing!
Nice contemporary, quiet restaurant with bar seating option.. Wide variety of menu selections..
Best sushi I've ever had. The chunks of salmon and tuna in their respective rolls were huge and plentiful avocado. 5 stars!
Great food and staff.
